Administration of Local Anesthesia for Dental Hygienists (32 CEU’s)
This course is approved by the NJ Board of Dentistry for the education and training of licensed Dental Hygienists to administer local anesthesia to patients during the course of dental treatment. The course is held over a 5 week period with classes/labs scheduled at times that are convenient to practicing hygienists. The course starts May 15, 2012 and ends June 20, 2012.
Tuition: $999
Requirements: proof of current NJ RDH license, current certification BLS/CPR for the Healthcare Provider, and personal health insurance.
Lecture Dates: Lecture: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-9:00 p.m. May 15-June 5 (7 sessions) and Sunday, May 20 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Lab Dates: Thursdays and Wednesdays, 6:00-9:00 p.m. June 7, 13, 14, 20

Dental Radiology for Dental Assistants
This course is accredited by the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. It is designed to meet the legislated requirement of dental radiology education as part of the application process for New Jersey licensure in dental radiography. Successful course completion requires a mandatory 30 clinical hours in a dental practice approved by the N.J. Bureau of Radiologic Health.
Tuition: $699
Requirements: United States high school or GED diploma or its equivalent, proof of employment in an approved New Jersey dental office.
Lecture Dates: Wednesdays, 6:00-9:00 p.m. February 8-April 25, 2012 (no class March 14, April 18) (10 sessions)
Lab Dates: Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon (and if class size dictates, 12:30-3:30 p.m.) March 24-April 28, 2012 (no class April 7) (5 sessions)
