Mission Statement
To improve the public's total health, the mission of the New Jersey Dental Hygienists' Association is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by increasing the awareness of, and ensuring access to quality oral health care by promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure and practice, and representing and promoting the interest of dental hygienists.

Creating a community for all dental hygienists and investing in their future.

Goals
The dental hygiene community will understand the value of NJDHA membership and choose to belong. (Membership)

NJDHA will be the recognized community and resource for dental hygiene. (Brand)

The dental hygiene profession will advance through effective advocacy by NJDHA. (Advocacy)

NJDHA and its members will work in partnership with dentists and other stakeholders to advance oral health. (Partnership)

NJDHA will be a data driven, fiscally sound, effectively governed organization. (Operational Excellence)

The New Jersey Dental Hygienists’ Association (NJDHA) is a constituent of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. The five NJDHA components are:

04 Bergen
05 SouthShore

Any active NJDHA member who has made outstanding contributions to dental hygiene and to NJDHA shall be eligible for Life Membership.
