Bergen Community College

Bergen Community College Dental Hygiene Program participated in the Give Kids A Smile Day on February 1, 2008. Forty-five children received preventive care.

The program also participated in the Bear Hugs for the Holidays program with the North Jersey Media Group for a second year. Over 700 bears were donated this year. The bears are distributed to children in the hospital during the holiday season as well as to children of those serving in the military in Iraq and Afghanistan. We partnered with local elementary classes to design the tags for the bears. It was a rewarding community project!

Camden County College

Our SADHA Officers for this semester are:

  • President: Mary Ann Joyce
  • Vice President: Tracey Bozarth
  • Secretary: Tamara Bevan
  • Treasurers: Brenda McComb and Kristen Triboletti

The Freshman and Senior Dental Hygiene students along with our Dental Assisting students participated in Give Kids A Smile Project on Feb 2, 2008. We had a tremendous day and a great turn out! Our students have been busy fundraising and preparing a table clinic for presentation at the SADHA Conference in Buffalo in March. We are eagerly anticipating this event!
