Over 200 registered walkers,
40 oral cancer screenings, and
EIC & NJDHA 3rd Grade Day 3.10.17
On 3.10.17, EIC students treated 23 children from a local charter school. Children were provided prophys, fluoride, OHI, and if needed, sealants. This event is co-sponsored by NJDHA as part of an outreach to communities of need.

EIC & NJDHA Special Needs Day 4.12.17
On 4.12.17, EIC Senior Students visited A.Harry Moore Special Needs School. EIC Students saw 50 special needs children, ages ranging from 3 to 19 years old. This event is co-sponsored by NJDHA as part of an outreach to communities of need.

NJDHA & Head Start
Yvonne Goldman (Northern) and Kim Attanasi (Northern) presented oral health information at the Head Start Oral Health Manager Orientation during the Head Start Region II Training in Atlantic City on 5.22.17. They answered questions regarding new oral health standards and meeting oral health goals, as well as discussed ways to incorporate toothbrushing with fluoride into the classroom. NJDHA is available for the NJ Head Starts of Region II for training and oral health services.
