CE Requirements and Licensure Renewal
2007 is a renewal year for dental hygiene licenses. The State is pushing for renewals to be done online. When you receive notification by the Division of Consumer Affairs, you will be given a user name (license number) and a passcode to access your information and renew online through the divisions MyLicense website. Criminal Background Checks
Those seeking application for licensure need to undergo procedures for criminal background checks. Currently the Division of Consumer Affairs has begun fingerprinting Registered Nurses that are licensed in this state. They will not begin fingerprinting currently licensed dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants until 2008.
